NME雜誌訪問主唱Zach de la Rocha時，對錄製新專輯一事他提到:"這是有可能的，我們在年底忙完各自的project之後會聚集討論一下，看看大家得到了什麼"
各自的project就是他本人的One day as a lion(今年會在fuji rock出場)
還有吉他手Tom Morello的Nightwatchman以及Street Sweeper Social Club.
